Christmas is next week! We find out how much it would cost if you actually bought all the gifts in the iconic 12 Days of Christmas song.
Every year in December, the PNC Bank takes a break from their work to release the PNC Wealth Management Christmas Price Index. It’s a tongue-firmly-in-cheek look at how much it would cost someone to get their loved ones all the items in the song 12 Days of Christmas. If you’re thinking about presenting your true love with feathered creatures, dance and song performances, a few pieces of jewellery, and a week’s supply of milk, be prepared to fork out US$27,673.22.
We were also really surprised that swans could cost so much.
Inflation didn’t strike the gift list hard this year. The total bill is only one percent more than last year’s bill of US$27,393.17.
Check out our infographic below to find out the individual costs of each items. As for where you can get all the items, we hear Google is a jolly good fellow.
